Hi Claude,

Though I wasn't able to make it last Thursday night - I want to thank you for taking this opportunity to bring something new and fresh to Tango in Vancouver. This venue is close by my work and I can drive by and make it in the evenings without much fuss on my way home to Coquitlam - which is great!

I'd also like to admit that as one of the 'old-timers' in our city (who hasn't been showing up too much over the past couple of years,) that i also miss seeing all the other people with whom i truly identify my tango learning with. I wish that more of us who have been around for several years - who have a fair amount of experience with tango - would show up more regularly - and create some fascinating and challenging tango communication for each other. this was the way we all learned to be better dancers - we were constantly challenging and working with each other - and I really miss that. I miss seeing the ladies do great 'follows' and myself trying to equal what the others had learned - I also really miss seeing the men taking each other aside and working on steps, style and technique with each other. I'm certain some of this happens in my absence on a Tuesday night - I just wish I saw more of it regularly. It always inspired me. Sharing like that is a great way to learn.
